‘Doom’s Division #1’ Preview: Tiger Division Faces Doom’s Peaceful Reign

Tiger Division’s been a rising name in Marvel’s lineup, and it’s clear they’re now a key part of the action. South Korea’s top heroes have gone from local defenders to players on a global stage, thanks to their standout debut in 2022. Fans love their grit, and I can see why—White Fox, Taegukgi, Luna Snow, and the rest bring something special every time they show up.
Now, we’ve got a sneak peek at their latest gig in ‘Doom’s Division #1’, hitting shelves on March 26, 2025. This five-issue series ties into the huge ‘One World Under Doom’ event, where Doctor Doom’s taken over the planet and somehow made peace happen. It’s a wild twist, and Tiger Division’s right in the middle of it. I’m here to break down what’s coming, based on the preview details I’ve got.
The story’s crafted by Yoon Ha Lee, a writer known for his Machineries of Empire books, who’s teamed up with artist Minkyu Jung. Jung’s worked on ‘Doctor Aphra’ and ‘Ms. Marvel’, so the visuals are bound to pop.
Together, they’re putting Tiger Division—still led by White Fox—through a major shift. As agents of South Korea’s National Intelligence Service, they’re now enforcing Doom’s new rules, backed by some new recruits. But not everyone’s happy in this perfect world, and trouble’s brewing.
Here’s the official synopsis straight from the preview:
TIGER DIVISION ROARS INTO ACTION — FOR DOOM! Doctor Doom rules the planet! But instead of chaos, he’s created world peace. Where does that leave Tiger Division, South Korea’s foremost defenders? As agents of the National Intelligence Service under White Fox, they’re ordered to uphold the new world order — with the help of some new team members! But not everyone is content in Doom’s utopia. Tensions are high, and the stakes are higher in ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM.
This picks up after their first run, where they clashed with Doom and caught his eye. He’s not just letting them fade away—now they’re his squad, with familiar faces like Lady Bright and Mr. Enigma mixing it up alongside newcomers like Wave and Aero.
The ‘One World Under Doom’ event kicks off in February, so by the time this drops, we’ll be deep into Doom’s takeover. I’m betting this series will show how these heroes handle being on the enforcer side of things—and whether they’ll push back.
