Paris Fashion Week always saves a few surprises for its final night, and the closing show tends to attract the biggest names in the room. This year was no exception, with the front row at Louis Vuitton filled with stars from film, fashion and music. One guest in particular has been drawing attention ever since.

Ana de Armas, a Louis Vuitton house ambassador, spent several days in the French capital moving between the brand’s private events and its runway show. Black has become something of a signature for her at these outings, and she leaned into that again this week. She also has a history with the house, having fronted its ‘Mythica’ high jewelry campaign months ago in a sleek black leather dress.

On Tuesday, October 6, the Ana de Armas Paris Fashion Week look arrived at the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2027 show in an all-black leather ensemble, and fresh portraits from the day quickly spread online. A post sharing the images drew thousands of views on X, with fans praising her Paris style. It’s easy to see why the look stood out.

De Armas wore a sharply tailored black leather blazer dress with strong padded shoulders and wide peak lapels. A deep plunging V-neckline gave the piece its drama, and a single button fastened it at the waist. Side vents at the hem lined up with laced detailing for movement and shape.

The standout details were the side panels, which featured cutouts laced with tan leather straps and silver D-ring buckles. Those touches gave the black leather a bit of an edge. According to fashion coverage of the show, the piece came from Nicolas Ghesquière’s Resort 2027 collection for the house.

She kept the leather motif going all the way down with black knee-high Louis Vuitton Donna High Boots. A small glossy burgundy Louis Vuitton Multipass Mini bag with a gold chain strap added a pop of color. A long Color Blossom necklace cascaded down the plunging front of the blazer.

Her hair was worn down in loose waves with a middle part, and a dark manicure matched the monochrome palette. De Armas was styled by Samantha McMillen. Photographers also spotted her arriving with her boyfriend, Beto Montenegro.

The runway appearance was part of a packed week. Over the weekend, she joined Ghesquière at the Palais de l’Élysée, where the designer received the Légion d’honneur. On Monday night, she attended a private Louis Vuitton dinner alongside Emma Stone, Chloë Grace Moretz, Sophie Thatcher, the Haim sisters and Jaden Smith.

For that dinner, she wore a sparkling beige sequined top with a black leather miniskirt and knee-high black leather boots, carrying a structured Louis Vuitton clutch with gold trim. The contrast between the two looks showed how comfortably she moves between shimmer and sharp tailoring.

The collection itself gave the evening plenty of context. Ghesquière transformed the Louvre’s Cour Carrée into a retro-futuristic city street, complete with an asphalt catwalk and suspended wedge-shaped vehicles. The collection, titled “Ergonomie,” focused on lightness, and it closed out the Spring/Summer 2027 season.

Against that backdrop of featherlight fabrics, de Armas’s heavier leather piece offered a deliberate counterpoint. It leaned into the strong shoulders and dramatic necklines that have turned up repeatedly on celebrity guests this week. Her take on the trend was among the strongest looks from Tuesday’s front row.

Part of the appeal is how well it fits her public image. De Armas, known for ‘Knives Out,’ ‘Blade Runner 2049,’ ‘No Time to Die,’ ‘Blonde’ and ‘Ballerina,’ has cultivated a style that mixes sultry edge with classic glamour. A buckled blazer dress is the kind of piece that lets her do both.

It also shows how closely she is tied to Louis Vuitton this year. Between the jewelry campaign, the private dinners and a front-row seat at the finale, she has been one of the house’s most visible faces. The images from Paris will likely keep circulating as the season wraps up.

With Paris Fashion Week now in the books, de Armas’s black leather moment feels like a fitting final note. Fans are already sharing their favorite details, from the laced side cutouts to the burgundy handbag.
