Eva Mendes Celebrates Valentine’s Day With Intimate Bedroom Photos Alongside Ryan Gosling
Eva Mendes is showing her love for her husband Ryan Gosling in a sweet and stylish way this Valentine’s Day. The 51-year-old actress posted a series of playful bedroom photos on Instagram dedicated to Gosling, giving fans a rare look at their private life.
In the images, Mendes wears an oversized T-shirt promoting Gosling’s new sci-fi movie Project Hail Mary. The shirt features Gosling in an astronaut suit with the phrase Believe in the Hail Mary. Mendes paired the casual look with glamorous makeup, smoky eyes, glossy lips, and her signature voluminous curls. She captioned the photos simply: For my Valentine.
Mendes also shared a heartfelt Instagram Story showing a father and son reacting to the film’s latest trailer, which aired during the Super Bowl. She wrote that the clip was so heartwarming and added that she hoped the public would love the film as much as she does.
The couple met while filming the 2011 crime drama The Place Beyond the Pines and have kept a low profile in Hollywood ever since. They are raising two daughters, Esmeralda Amada and Amada Lee, and have been living in London while Gosling works on his demanding filming schedule.
Mendes has joked about her retirement from acting but hinted she might return if she could co-star with Gosling again. Project Hail Mary hits theaters globally on March 20, including IMAX. Gosling plays Ryland Grace, a science teacher who wakes up on a spaceship with no memory of who he is.
As he pieces together his past, he realizes he may be humanity’s only hope to prevent a solar catastrophe. The film is based on Andy Weir’s novel, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, and co-stars Sandra Hüller.
Gosling is also busy with another sci-fi project, Star Wars: Starfighter, which is set for release in 2027. Meanwhile, Mendes has been focusing on business and writing. She is co-owner of Skura Style, a home cleaning company, and recently published a children’s book, Desi, Mami, and the Never-Ending Worries, about motherhood and anxiety.
Even though they rarely attend red carpets together, Mendes and Gosling show their support for each other through playful social media posts. Mendes even joked recently about being jealous of Gosling’s CGI co-star Rocky because he spends so much time with the creature on set.
