Eve Hewson drew a lot of attention at the US premiere of Disclosure Day in New York City, where she arrived at the Koch Theater and quickly became one of the most talked-about stars of the night. The actress stood out in a vintage-inspired look that mixed elegance with a bold red carpet style.

Hewson wore a blush-pink floral dress that featured a deep neckline and a structured, old-Hollywood feel. The outfit included delicate embellishments and a high-neck scarf that added contrast to the open neckline. The lower part of the dress was designed with a wrap-style overskirt layered over a printed underlayer, giving the look extra depth and movement.

She completed the outfit with pointed blush heels that matched the soft tone of the dress. Her styling leaned heavily into a vintage aesthetic, making the overall look feel polished but still eye-catching.

For makeup, Hewson kept things simple and clean. She wore soft blush tones on her cheeks and a deep pink lipstick that added color without overpowering the outfit. Her hair was worn down in a short style that framed her face and matched the minimal approach of her beauty look.

The premiere took place on June 8, 2026, ahead of the film’s wider release. Disclosure Day is directed by Steven Spielberg and is set to arrive in theaters on June 12. The film has already had its world premiere at Le Grand Rex in Paris on June 2.

The movie is a science fiction story built around the idea of alien disclosure and global conspiracy. It follows multiple characters who become connected through a growing mystery involving classified information and strange public events. The film features Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Colman Domingo, and Eve Hewson in a supporting role.

Hewson plays Jane Blankenship, a former nun who is connected to Josh O’Connor’s character, Daniel Kellner. Daniel is a cybersecurity expert who uncovers hidden documents that suggest humanity is not alone in the universe. The story follows his search for truth while different characters react to the growing possibility of alien contact.

Emily Blunt plays Margaret Fairchild, a meteorologist who experiences a strange live broadcast moment that becomes central to the mystery. Colin Firth appears as Noah Scanlon, a powerful corporate figure tied to the deeper conspiracy. Colman Domingo also plays a key role as a whistleblower pushing for public disclosure.

The film’s production began after it was first reported in 2024 that Spielberg was working on a UFO-themed project with screenwriter David Koepp. Universal Pictures later came on board as the distributor, and filming took place between February and May 2025 across locations including Atlanta, New Jersey, and New York.

Early reception from critics has been generally positive, with praise for Spielberg’s direction, the performances, and the film’s visual style and music. John Williams also composed the score, marking another major collaboration between the composer and Spielberg.

While Disclosure Day continues to build anticipation ahead of its release, the New York premiere added to the buzz, with Eve Hewson’s red carpet appearance becoming one of the most talked-about moments of the evening.
