The film, directed and written by Sameera Wackwella, stars Kalhara Wackwella, Gayathri Rasingolla, and Saasha Karunarathne.
2. Kaiju No. 8: Mission Recon (April 13)
In a Japan filled with giant monsters, Kafka Hibino works in monster disposal. After meeting his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro, who is a star in the anti-monster Defense Force, he decides to follow his dream of joining the Force. However, he suddenly turns into a powerful monster called “Kaiju No. 8.”
3. The Shrouds (April 18)
The Shrouds is a body horror drama directed by David Cronenberg, starring Diane Kruger, Vincent Cassel, Guy Pearce, and Sandrine Holt. Karsh, a 50-year-old businessman, is devastated by his wife’s death. He creates GraveTech, a technology that lets the living watch their loved ones’ bodies decay in their shrouds. One night, several graves, including his wife’s, are disturbed. Karsh goes on a mission to find out who is behind it.
4. All the Lost Ones (April 18)
All the Lost Ones is a movie about a future civil war caused by government actions due to climate change. Nia, her sister Penny, and her boyfriend Ethan are hiding when a militia leader and his followers show up at their door. The film is directed by Mackenzie Donaldson and stars Jasmine Mathews, Vinessa Antoine, and Devon Sawa.
5. The Ugly Stepsister (April 18)
The Ugly Stepsister is about Elvira, who struggles against her beautiful stepsister in a world where beauty is everything. She takes extreme actions to win the prince’s attention in a harsh competition for perfection.
