Family Feud Explodes as Spice Girls Defend Victoria Beckham Amid Brooklyn’s “Toxic” Claims
Victoria Beckham stepped back into the spotlight for the first time after a very rough week for her family. Just days after her son Brooklyn posted a long and emotional attack online, Victoria was seen out with her old Spice Girls bandmates.
According to photos and posts shared on Instagram, she joined Geri Halliwell, Mel C, and Emma Bunton at a luxury party in Oxfordshire on Saturday night, January 24, 2026. The event was held to celebrate Emma Bunton’s 50th birthday.
The reunion felt meaningful. It came right after Brooklyn shared a six-page Instagram statement on January 19, accusing his parents of years of control and manipulation. At the birthday party, Victoria appeared calm and smiling.
She later posted a photo of the four women together and wrote, “Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul @emmaleebunton I love you girls so much.” David Beckham showed his support in the comments, writing that the reunion “made me happy.”
Brooklyn’s post, which remains online, paints a very different picture of family life. He claimed that his parents care more about protecting “Brand Beckham” than building real relationships. One of his strongest accusations focused on his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham. Brooklyn said his mother forced him to dance on stage in front of around 500 guests while his bride was left standing alone. He described the moment as humiliating and said it still affects him.
The situation has only grown worse online. Memes mocking Victoria’s alleged behavior have gone viral, and unnamed sources told entertainment outlets that she feels deeply embarrassed and hurt by the reaction.
Brooklyn also claimed that, shortly before his wedding, his parents tried to pressure him into signing away the commercial rights to his name. He said he refused and made it clear in his post that he does not want to repair the relationship right now, adding that he has found peace by stepping away from their influence.
Despite the public fallout, David and Victoria have tried to soften their image. According to Instagram comments spotted by fans, both parents recently replied to an old fan post showing Brooklyn as a child in 2006. Victoria wrote, “Brings back great memories!” while David added, “Good memories.” Many see this as a quiet attempt to remind the public of happier times before the current drama.
Away from the family conflict, everyone involved is staying busy. Victoria is finishing her Autumn/Winter 2026 fashion collection, which is scheduled to debut at Paris Fashion Week in March, according to her brand’s production timeline. David has been traveling and recently spoke at the World Economic Forum in Davos. During his talk, he discussed the risks of social media and noted that children are allowed to make mistakes, a comment many took as a subtle reference to his current situation.
Brooklyn is focused on building his own career. On January 20, he launched a collaboration between his luxury condiment brand, Cloud23, and Le Bilboquet Market in Palm Beach. Reports from local media say the custom sandwich sold out within hours. Nicola Peltz Beckham is also moving forward professionally. She is currently working on an indie film called Prima, a project she created herself about a ballerina dealing with a toxic creative environment.
The younger Beckham siblings are keeping their distance from the drama as well. Romeo Beckham has been attending fashion events, including Paris Fashion Week, and posting about his relationship with Kim Turnbull. Cruz Beckham, now 20, is reportedly in Los Angeles working on new music, according to music industry sources.
For now, the Beckham family remains divided. While Victoria leans on her “Girl Power” past and Brooklyn builds a future away from the family name, it is still unclear whether time, nostalgia, or distance will ever bring them back together. What do you think about what’s happening with the Beckhams?
