Summer is almost here, and that means blockbuster season is in full swing! Fandango surveyed over 3,500 moviegoers to find out which upcoming films have fans the most excited.

Topping the list is Jurassic World Rebirth, directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp. This standalone sequel to Jurassic World Dominion is the seventh film in the Jurassic Park series.

The movie introduces a brand-new cast, including Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey. Given its popularity on multiple “most anticipated” lists, its number-one ranking comes as no surprise.

In second place is Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four: First Steps, which will introduce Marvel’s First Family to the MCU. The film stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. It’s described as a retro-futuristic reimagining of the 1960s, set in a parallel reality, adding a fresh twist to the beloved characters.

Coming in at number three is Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, the eighth installment in the long-running action franchise. Tom Cruise has already teased some jaw-dropping stunts for the film, ensuring another adrenaline-fueled spectacle.

James Gunn’s Superman lands in fourth place, starring David Corenswet as the Man of Steel, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. As the first live-action installment in the newly established DCU, Gunn and producer Peter Safran have described it as the unofficial start of the rebooted universe. With a fresh take on the iconic superhero, it’s no wonder the film ranks so high on the list.

Rounding out the top five is another superhero flick, Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts. Directed by Jake Schreier and written by Joanna Calo, Eric Pearson, and Lee Sung Jin, the film follows a group of antiheroes who find themselves trapped and forced to work together on a dangerous mission. The ensemble cast includes Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. As the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year.
