Fantasy Life i Sells 800,000 Copies in 10 Days, Switch 2 Version Launches This Week

Level-5’s newest game, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, is off to a great start. The company shared that the game has sold over 800,000 copies around the world in just 10 days.
That number includes sales across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam. This info comes from an update posted by Level-5.
Even though some players got early access through the Digital Deluxe Edition, Level-5 only counts sales from the official launch day, which was May 21.
The team also believes the game is on track to hit one million copies sold before the end of June. To mark the 800k milestone, Level-5 even shared some new artwork from the game to thank fans.
In the company’s announcement, they said the response has been stronger than they expected.
They noted that downloads have been especially good in both Japan and other countries. “The title has received an overwhelming response far beyond expectations, with the download version performing strongly on digital platforms both in Japan and internationally,” the company wrote. They also mentioned that on some platforms, the game even hit number one in sales for a few days after launch.
Level-5 added that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game will be coming out on June 5, which is the same day the new console hits stores. The upgraded version will include improvements to make use of the new hardware.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is available now for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC. If you’re getting the game or already playing it, now might be a good time to jump in, especially with new content and updates on the way.
