Finn Wolfhard Says Filming ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Was “Super Emotional”

As you know, Stranger Things is going to be over soon; work on the fifth and final season is done and the fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the final batch of episodes on Netflix.
Every information we have points to the final season being an epic one, with twists, turns, “no one’s safe” moments, as well as a lot of emotional weight. In that aspect, the fans are generally excited to see what the cast and crew have prepared for us.
While promoting his film Hell of a Summer, which he co-directed with Billy Bryk, Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike in the series, talked to the press and one of the topics discussed was the final season of Stranger Things.
And while we have to say that the series was just a secondary topic – Hell of a Summer was the main topic of discussion – Wolfhard did reveal some details about the production of the final season. He did not go into details, but he confirmed that the whole process was very emotional and that this will – hopefully – translate to the series as well.
“It was super emotional, but we’re all unbelievably happy with the finished product. We just can’t believe it’s over, but we can’t wait until people see it,” Wolfhard said. This is in line with the information we have already gotten from other cast and crew members, and seeing how it is the series’ final season, we actually believe that it was a very emotional process.
As for spoilers, Wolfhard said he was unable to reveal anything, but he did describe the final season as “bittersweet.”
The cast and crew members have done their part, and a big part of their lives and careers is now over. The fans have yet to see it, and we just hope that the final season delivers the ending the series deserves!
