. New promo art for Avengers: Doomsday has been revealed, giving fans another early look at the film’s main characters and its central conflict. The artwork focuses heavily on Doctor Doom, while also showing heroes from the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men as their stories move toward a major crossover.

One of the standout images highlights Doctor Doom, who is played by Robert Downey Jr. The character is shown in a dark and intimidating style, reinforcing the idea that he will be the main threat in the story. The report notes that Doom’s appearance in the artwork looks especially menacing, though the film’s full plot is still being kept secret.

Other pieces of promo art take a more stylized approach. These images include a mix of characters from different Marvel groups, such as Cyclops, The Thing, Sam Wilson as Captain America, Thor, and Yelena Belova. The combination of characters suggests that multiple timelines and universes are starting to overlap.

Another artwork features the logos of the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men colliding together. According to the report, this visual strongly hints at a major crossover event where the different Marvel universes begin to merge. It also suggests that Earth-616, Earth-828, and Earth-10005 will all be involved in a large multiverse conflict. Some interpretations of the story point toward a massive “Incursion” event that could lead to the creation of a Battleworld-style setting, based on comic book storylines.

While Marvel Studios has not confirmed these plot details, speculation continues to grow around how the story will unfold. The film’s directors, the Russo Brothers, have addressed the topic of leaks and spoilers in recent interviews.

Joe Russo explained that audiences want to be surprised, but also noted that modern spoiler culture is difficult to control. He said, “On one hand, audiences want to be surprised, and that’s part of what makes the theatrical experience exciting. On the other hand, [spoilers] can become a little over-policed, where people are anxious about engaging with anything.”

He also added that filmmakers design stories to unfold in a specific way, but cannot control how information spreads online. He said, “We design these films to unfold in a certain way, and we want audiences to feel those moments as intended. But at the same time, you can’t control everything. You have to focus on making something that holds up beyond the initial surprise.”
