With only one season left, the stars of From already know how they want the mysterious horror series to end.

Season 4 left fans with one of the show’s most emotional and confusing moments yet, especially for Henry Kavanaugh (Robert Joy) and his son Victor (Scott McCord). Henry was manipulated into believing that his reality was not what it seemed and that killing Victor was the only way to escape. However, his plan failed, leaving Victor devastated and angry after realizing his own father had turned against him.

The finale also introduced an even bigger threat. The Man in Yellow, who had been hiding behind another identity, was revealed as a powerful enemy standing against the Boy in White. With the truth finally starting to come out, the final season is expected to answer some of the biggest questions surrounding the strange town and the forces controlling it.

In an interview with ScreenRant, actors Robert Joy and Scott McCord opened up about what they hope happens in the final chapter of the series. Both actors want the story to give fans the ending they have been waiting for, with the evil forces finally defeated and the trapped residents finding a way home.

Joy said he wants to see the mysterious villain finally face consequences after causing so much damage throughout the series. “I want to know if Sophia, and therefore the Man in Yellow, gets a comeuppance. I want to see her defeated, and consequently him defeated. She’s been so nefarious! I want a comeuppance there.”

McCord shared a similar wish, hoping the final season will bring an end to the cycle that has trapped the characters for so long. More than anything, he wants to see the residents escape and return to normal lives.

“Yeah, I hope the reveal of the warring entities in the finale means that the cycle ends. Obviously, I want to see a happy ending. I want everybody to go home. It’d be nice if everybody could go home, and we cut to Victor and Henry having a barbecue with Ethan.”

That peaceful ending would be especially meaningful for Victor and Henry after everything they have gone through. Their relationship has been one of the most emotional parts of the show, but the events of Season 4 created a major divide between them. For them to truly repair their bond, Henry will need to accept what happened and find his way back to the son he nearly lost.

However, getting that happy ending will not be easy. The residents are now more vulnerable than ever after losing some of the protections that helped them survive. The disappearance of important defenses means the final season could be the most dangerous one yet.

Victor will likely play a major role in the conclusion. As someone who survived the previous cycle and has a unique connection with the Boy in White, he may hold the key to understanding the town’s secrets and finding a way out.

After years of mysteries, monsters, and unanswered questions, From’s final season has a lot to solve. Based on what Joy and McCord want for their characters, fans can expect an ending focused not only on defeating the enemy but also on giving the characters the peace they have been fighting for.
