‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Actor Killed in Fatal Car Crash
Brad Everett Young, the actor and celebrity photographer known for his work on television and in Hollywood, has died at the age of 46.
According to his publicist, Paul Christensen, Young was killed in a car accident on the 134 Freeway in California on Sunday, September 14. He was hit by a vehicle driving the wrong way after leaving a movie theater.
The other driver survived and was hospitalized, while Young tragically died at the scene, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.
Young had a long career in television, appearing in shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Charmed, Beverly Hills, 90210, Felicity, Boy Meets World, Forever, Charlie’s Angels, and The Practice. He also appeared in films including Love & Basketball, Rumor Has It…, Austin Powers in Goldmember, The Artist, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Beyond acting, Young was a celebrated celebrity photographer with a large Instagram following of over 2 million people.
His work appeared in major publications like The Hollywood Reporter, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, PEOPLE, and Variety. He photographed stars including David Harbour, Seth Green, and Gavin Casalegno. Young was also close friends with the late Paul Walker, whom he remembered fondly in a tribute on Instagram in December 2024.
In addition to his professional work, Young founded Dream Loud Official, a program supporting music and arts education in schools across the U.S. Christensen said, “Brad’s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched. He lived his mission of keeping creativity alive, and his legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official.”
