Harrison Ford Shares Rare Insights Into His Intimate Life at 83

At 83, Harrison Ford is still surprising fans. During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the legendary actor shared a playful detail about his personal life that left the audience laughing.

While promoting the third season of his hit Apple TV+ show Shrinking, Ford was asked about a rumor regarding the soundtracks of his films. “Of course I have,” he admitted on March 10 when asked if he had ever listened to his own movie scores in the bedroom.

He didn’t name a favorite, explaining that his real joy comes from making movies, not just seeing the final product. “When you see it, it’s all screwed up. When I did it, it was better than that,” he added with a grin.

This playful moment comes after an emotional highlight in Ford’s recent career. Earlier this month, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the SAG-AFTRA Actor Awards.

In his speech, he thanked his wife, Calista Flockhart, his colleagues, and his family. “I want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to my peers, my beautiful wife, Calista, and my family,” he said.

The couple, who first met at the Golden Globes in 2002, recently marked more than 15 years of marriage. On the red carpet, they were seen laughing together and holding hands, with Flockhart even helping Ford adjust his look before heading inside.

Ford’s show Shrinking continues to be a hit. The third season, which began on January 28, stars him as Paul, a grumpy yet lovable therapist, alongside Jason Segel. This season also welcomes new faces, including Michael J. Fox, whose character has a meaningful connection to Paul, adding fresh energy to the series.

On the big screen, Ford has been busy too. He recently joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Brave New World, taking on the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.

In the film, Ross rises to become President of the United States and also transforms into the Red Hulk, a role that required Ford to do extensive motion-capture work. Fans were thrilled to see the veteran actor step into such a physically demanding and high-profile role.
