Jurassic World Rebirth

Release Date: July 2, 2025 (theaters only)

Jurassic World Rebirth is bringing us a new take on the popular franchise that started with Michael Crichton’s famous novel. After two trilogies, the producers are gearing up for a new series that will start with Rebirth.

The movie will star Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and Mahershalla Ali, among others, and will be set after the event of the previous Jurassic World trilogy in the same fictional universe.

Superman

Release Date: July 11, 2025 (theaters only)

The DCU is getting its proper start this July with the theatrical release of James Gunn’s Superman. The fans are excited and the movie is projected to earn big money when it premieres, so people are generally very, very satisfied with how things are going.

The movie will, among others, star David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, and Isabela Merced, but it will feature a lot of other DC characters as well. Everyone’s hopeful that the movie will give the DCU a proper launch.

Daniela Forever

Daniela Forever is an interesting blend of sci-fi and romance, essentially a story about grief, loss, and sorrow. The movie had its premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and has since seen a limited theatrical release around the world, with a new date set for July.

A Spanish-Belgian co-production, the movie stars Henry Golding as Nicolas, Beatrice Grannò as Daniela, Rubén Ochandiano as Garrido, and Aura Garrido as a character named Teresa.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps

Release Date: July 25, 2025 (theaters only)

The MCU is hoping to land yet another blockbuster with The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which will set the story for the upcoming Doomsday event. The movie will also revitalize the First Family’s cinematic outings in a proper way, the producers hope.

Starring Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Pedro Pascal, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Julia Garner, and Ralph Ineson, the movie is coming out in July and everyone’s excited to see what the final product will look like.

Summer Wars

This anime was initially released back in 2009, but it is getting a special, limited re-release this July, which means that a new generation of fans will be able to enjoy this masterpiece of Japanese animation.

The movie is directed by legendary anime director Mamoru Hosoda, who will be known to fans of anime from all around the world.

Ick

Another film coming to us from the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, Ick is a very interesting sci-fi horror comedy that received positive reviews from the critics in Toronto, which is a solid recommendation.

The movie will get a limited theatrical release in July 2025. It stars Brandon Routh as Hank, Mena Suvari as Staci, Malina Weissman as Grace, Harrison Cone as Dylan, and Jeff Fahey as Hank’s father.

Together

Together is going to be a proper treat for those who like supernatural body horror movies. The film had its premiere at Sundance earlier this year and is now getting a full theatrical release in late July and early August, depending on where you are in the world.

The movie features stellar performances by Alison Brie and Dave Franco, and has received mostly positive reviews at Sundance.
