After a successful first trilogy and a second one that fell apart at the end, the people behind the Jurassic Park franchise are starting a new series this summer. Jurassic World Rebirth is set to premiere on July 2, 2025 and will bring the story closer to Crichton’s books, as has been said.

We’ve already known a lot about the upcoming revival of the franchise, but some information is still missing. Or has been missing in the case of the information we have for you in this report.

Namely, we are happy to confirm that a major name has joined the project, i.e., that Jurassic World Rebirth is getting a big-name composer to succeed John Williams and Michael Giacchino (and Don Davis, but he did only one movie).

So, we know that the Jurassic World Rebirth movie is coming out this July and that it is supposed to take the story back to its roots, even more than Spielberg’s original movies. Gareth Edwards will be directing the movie from a script written by David Koepp, who is back to the franchise after writing the first two films.

As for the cast, we know that some major names will be present. Scarlett Johansson will appear as Zora Bennett, Mahershala Ali as Duncan Kincaid, Jonathan Bailey as Dr. Henry Loomi, and Rupert Friend as Martin Krebs.

They will be joined by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Reuben Delgado, Luna Blaise as Teresa Delgado, David Iacono as Xavier Dobbs, Audrina Miranda as Isabella Delgado, Philippine Velge as a member of Zora’s team, Bechir Sylvain as Leclerc, and Ed Skrein as Atwater.

And while an important question, the name of the composer had not been known until now, but we are happy to confirm that Oscar-winner Alexandre Desplat will be composing the score for the upcoming film.

The composer has confirmed that part of his score will be an homage to John Williams’ unforgettable original score. “Every score John Williams has written has become an iconic score, so it’s quite a daunting task. At first, you’re excited, then panic comes along because you realize that you’re taking over from a fabulous composer who invented so many great things that the whole planet knows. You try to find your way through that,” he said.
