The spinoff reimagines her as a working professional far from Reacher’s orbit. TV Insider’s logline describes her as a private investigator based in Chicago and a former military protégé of Jack Reacher within the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. It is a natural next step for a character who has always been defined by discipline and loyalty, now finally getting to run her own show.
Unlike the mothership series, this one is not tethered to existing novels.
