She joked that viewers will now see her character get thrown into the action when things escalate. The new season premieres on February 20 and is based on The First Time I Saw Him, the sequel novel by author Laura Dave.

The show’s cast is also expanding. New additions include Rita Wilson and Judy Greer, joining returning cast members Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and David Morse. Outside of acting, Garner is having a major moment in business.
Earlier this month, her organic kids’ food company Once Upon a Farm went public. The company debuted on the New York Stock Exchange on February 7 and reached a valuation of more than $700 million. This milestone was confirmed through public market records and company announcements.
Garner is also staying busy on set. She is currently filming a new comedy for Netflix called One Attempt Remaining. The movie is directed by Kay Cannon and follows a divorced couple trying to recover a lost cryptocurrency password worth millions.
She has also been making more public appearances this year. In January, Garner returned to the Golden Globes for the first time in over a decade, presenting an award and stepping onto the red carpet in a black sequined gown.
