Jennifer Lawrence Opens Up About Postpartum Body and Boob Job Plans After Baby No. 2

Jennifer Lawrence is opening up about the challenges of fame, motherhood, and her plans for a boob job following the birth of her second child.

The Oscar-winning actress welcomed her baby with husband Cooke Maroney in March.

Speaking candidly in a recent conversation, Lawrence reflected on the pressure of doing press for movies. “Every time I do an interview, I think, ‘I can’t do this to myself again,’” she told fellow actor Viola Davis a few years ago. “I feel like I lose so much control over my craft when I have to do press for a movie.”

Lawrence has always been aware of the tightrope of fame. She explained that much of her public persona was a defense mechanism. “Well, it is, or it was, my genuine personality, but it was also a defense mechanism,” she said. “The pedestal of fame had felt treacherous and false… to just be, like, ‘I’m not like that! I poop my pants every day!’”

The actress shared how relentless public attention affected her personal life. Paparazzi often followed her around Los Angeles, leaving her sleep-deprived and exhausted. “I was young, I lived alone, I was being chased,” Lawrence said. “I felt—I didn’t feel, I was, I think—rejected not for my movies, not for my politics, but for me, for my personality.”

Despite the challenges, Lawrence keeps her sense of humor. She even discussed the lighter side of postpartum life and cosmetic plans. “I’d have to stop [vaping] in November, when I planned to get my boobs done,” she said. She joked about her own recovery, noting that nicotine can interfere with healing.

Lawrence’s honesty extends to everyday topics as well. She didn’t shy away from discussing childbirth details and joked about the realities of motherhood. “I look at those interviews, and that person is annoying. I get why seeing that person everywhere would be annoying,” she said, referencing how public scrutiny has shaped her.

Now, with two children and a new chapter in her life, Lawrence is embracing both parenthood and personal choices for herself. Her openness about fame, body image, and family life gives fans a glimpse into the real challenges behind the Hollywood spotlight.
