Joe Manganiello Teases ‘One Piece’ Season 3 With Mysterious New Video
Fans of One Piece are talking after actor Joe Manganiello shared a new short teaser that hints at what is coming in Season 3 of the Netflix series.
The clip, posted online by Manganiello, shows a dark and mysterious image. It features a large shadow standing in what looks like a wide desert. The figure is wearing a long cloak, and the most noticeable detail is a hook shape where one hand should be.
Fans quickly connected the image to his role in the show. Manganiello plays Sir Crocodile, also known as Mr. 0, one of the main villains in the story. He is the leader of Baroque Works, a criminal group with plans tied to a desert kingdom.
In the original One Piece story, Crocodile is known as a smart and dangerous fighter. He has special powers from a Devil Fruit that lets him turn into and control sand. This makes him one of the toughest enemies the main character, Monkey D. Luffy, has to face.
Manganiello first appeared briefly in the role at the end of Season 2, and fans reacted strongly at the time. Many viewers said he was a great fit for the character because of his strong screen presence.
Outside of One Piece, Manganiello has stayed busy with other projects. In early 2026, he appeared on the interview show “Conversations with Coach Cowher.” He has also worked on collectible figures with Four Horsemen Studios, based on his fantasy character Arkhan the Cruel.
There is also ongoing talk about a possible return to the role of Deathstroke, another character he has played before. A recent social media post from him, “You better not be wasting my time…”, sparked more rumors about future DC projects, including a possible film involving Deathstroke and Bane, though nothing has been confirmed.
Season 3 of One Piece began filming in late 2025 and is expected to continue production into mid-2026. The story will reportedly focus on the Alabasta arc, which is one of the most important parts of the original manga.
The cast includes returning stars like Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy and Lera Abova as Nico Robin. New additions include Xolo Maridueña, who is expected to play Ace. Fans are also waiting for the introduction of Tony Tony Chopper, who will join the Straw Hat crew in the upcoming season.
This teaser is a simple but effective way to build hype for Season 3. It does not show much, but it clearly reminds fans of Crocodile’s importance in the story.
