Jonathan Majors Breaks Down While Discussing Meagan Good Standing by Him
Jonathan Majors opened up about a very personal part of his life during a tearful interview this week, giving viewers a glimpse into how his wife, Meagan Good, has been his rock.
The actor appeared on the February 17 episode of the BET series For The Fellas, where he became emotional talking about how Good supported him during one of the hardest periods of his life. Majors, 36, spoke candidly about how her presence helped him stay grounded through his legal troubles and the public fallout from his career.
He described her as the force that kept him upright when everything felt like it was falling apart. During the interview, he paused multiple times to wipe away tears and added that Good shows up for me in every way I could need. He also praised her as my everything, the person who rebuilds me when I feel at my lowest.
This public acknowledgment comes nearly a year after the couple’s private wedding in March 2025, which was officiated by Majors’ mother. The two began dating in May 2023, just a few months after Majors’ arrest related to a domestic dispute with a former girlfriend.
Throughout the trial, which resulted in a misdemeanor third-degree assault and second-degree harassment conviction, Good was by his side in court. Majors avoided prison but was required to complete a year-long domestic violence intervention program in Los Angeles, which he successfully finished earlier this year.

During the same interview, Majors addressed some recent viral moments, including a misunderstanding with rapper NLE Choppa. He explained that there was no real conflict, noting that Good had already told him about Choppa’s past comments. Majors said he feels no need to worry about opinions from others in the industry now that he is married to her.
Professionally, Majors is focusing on a comeback. His bodybuilding drama, Magazine Dreams, finally had a wide release in March 2025 through Briarcliff Entertainment after being delayed for nearly two years. He is also attached to several new projects, including the action film True Threat and the revenge thriller Merciless, directed by Martin Villeneuve, both still in development.
Good has also had a busy year, starring in and executive producing the Lifetime thriller I’ll Never Let You Go. The couple also recently celebrated a personal milestone by officially acquiring Guinean citizenship, tracing their family roots back to the West African nation.
Even with intense public scrutiny since 2023, the pair remain devoted to their faith-based union, as they described during an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show. Majors’ mother, Terri Anderson-Watson, who is both a pastor and a therapist, has played a central role in guiding the couple through premarital counseling and ongoing support.
