The third season of House of the Dragon started filming a while ago and we’ve already had the opportunity to see various sets thanks to leaked set images and videos.

Now the latest set leaks brought to us by UnBoxPHD showcase what appears to be a town currently under construction.

Fans already started theorizing this set will represent the town of Tumbleton, a settlement in the Reach. Tumbleton was mentioned in House of the Dragon Season 2. Kat, the wife of Hugh the blacksmith, talked about fleeing there when King’s Landing became unsafe.

Leaked set images show workers building a town, likely the Tumbleton set. The photos suggest a large and detailed construction, hinting that this location could be a major setting in the upcoming season.

In Fire & Blood, the book that inspired the show, Tumbleton plays a key role in the war between Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen’s supporters and King Aegon II Targaryen’s followers. The Greens win an important battle in the Reach and prepare to march toward King’s Landing, passing through Tumbleton.

Another major plotline that connects to Tumbleton is the rise of the dragon-riders. At the end of Season 2, Rhaenyra recruited three commoners to ride dragons. One of them, Hugh Hammer, claimed the mighty dragon Vermithor. His story will likely tie into the events at Tumbleton.

. In the first battle, Ser Hugh Hammer and Ser Ulf White betrayed the blacks and used their dragons, Vermithor and Silverwing, to attack the town. Lord Footly’s men gave up, but they were killed. Dragonfire burned much of Tumbleton, and the greens looted the town. Ser Jon Roxton killed Lord Footly and took his wife, Lady Sharis Footly.

After the battle, the greens argued over leadership because their commander, Lord Ormund Hightower, had died. Thirteen of them gathered in the Bloody Caltrops to plot against Hugh and Ulf. Later, another battle broke out, and the dragons Vermithor, Silverwing, and Seasmoke fought, causing even more destruction.

Lady Sharis later rebuilt the town, tearing down burned buildings and putting up new walls. The heads of Seasmoke and Vermithor were placed in the town square, where travelers could pay to see and touch them. The Footly family continued her efforts, but many believed the land was cursed, and the rebuilt town was never as big as before.
