LEGO Reveals Marvel Skyline Set With Avengers Tower, X-Mansion and a Galactus Minifigure Looming Over the City
Marvel’s cities have always been as memorable as its heroes. From the glass-and-steel towers of New York to hidden mansions and secret sanctums, the franchise’s skyline is practically a character in its own right. It’s no surprise that LEGO has found a way to shrink it all down to shelf size.
The timing is fitting too. The reveal landed during New York Comic Con weekend, a natural stage for a set that celebrates the buildings that sit in the shadow of one of the world’s most famous skylines. For collectors who already display Marvel builds, it promises a compact way to bring everything together.
Now the LEGO Marvel Skyline set has officially arrived. Officially named The Marvel Skyline (set 67006), the 18+ microscale model packs 1,261 pieces into a street that measures roughly 15.5 inches wide and 8 inches tall. It goes on sale January 1, 2027, at LEGO Stores and on LEGO.com, with a US price of $99.99, though some early listings cited $109.99.

The set pulls from Marvel’s comics, movies and TV shows, which is what LEGO says is designed to create a connecting narrative across all of them. The headline buildings include Avengers Tower, the Daily Bugle, Oscorp Industries, Fisk Tower, the Baxter Building, the Sanctum Sanctorum and the X-Mansion. There’s also the law office of Nelson and Murdock.

The deep cuts are just as fun. Reports on the set point to additional locations such as Damage Control’s headquarters, A.I.M., Roxxon Corporation, the Wakanda Embassy, Pym Laboratories and the Rand Enterprises building, bringing the total to around 14 locations. The Daily Bugle sits at the front of the street, with Avengers Tower and the Baxter Building also given prime positions.

Of course, a skyline needs a threat, and this one has a big one. Galactus is included as a minifigure, which one report describes as the first physical LEGO minifigure of the character, and he towers over the street as if threatening to devour it. The set also includes nanofigures of Spider-Man and the Human Torch to defend the city.
The details around them add plenty of action. Spider-Man recreates the iconic train scene from ‘Spider-Man 2’, while the Human Torch forms a giant flaming number four above the Baxter Building. Fantastic Four fans also get a rocket ship launching from the building, which appears to take design inspiration from the MCU’s Excelsior.
The sky above this version of New York is anything but quiet. An attacking Leviathan from ‘The Avengers’ swoops through the scene, alongside the Avengers’ Quinjet, the X-Jet and a Thanos-Copter that nods to the comics. Street-level vehicles, including the Spider-Mobile, help the model feel like a bustling city rather than a static display.
That variety is a big part of the appeal. Each building and vehicle has its own style, which keeps the different stories and eras distinct while still sharing one shelf. It’s a clever way to let a comic-era reference sit beside a movie one.
The set also echoes an older LEGO tradition. LEGO’s Architecture line introduced its Skyline collection in 2016 with models of cities like Venice, Berlin and New York City, each combining several famous structures in one build. The range ran until 2022 and returned in 2025, which shows that the format has staying power.
The Marvel version is considerably larger than those early entries. Most early Architecture skylines ran well under 1,000 pieces, while this one reaches 1,261, which also explains its more substantial footprint. A rumored listing of the set had circulated earlier in the year before LEGO made it official.
The reveal comes during an especially busy stretch for LEGO and Marvel. A new wave of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ sets launched on October 4, including a New Avengers Tower at $109.99 with 954 pieces, ahead of the film’s December release. Those sets focus on minifigures, while the Marvel Skyline leans toward display.
That contrast may be the real draw. Instead of a single hero’s base or a battle scene, the skyline lets fans display the whole universe at once. For adult collectors who want a Marvel piece with a lighter footprint, it looks like a smart addition.
