LEGO’s 2027 Marvel Lineup Just Leaked, And It’s Bringing Doctor Doom To Avengers Doomsday Fans In Brick Form
Marvel fans have spent the better part of this year poring over every scrap of footage and merchandise tied to Avengers Doomsday, and the speculation machine shows no signs of slowing down. With Robert Downey Jr stepping into the role of Doctor Doom for the first time, even the smallest detail tends to send the fandom into overdrive.
LEGO has long been one of the most reliable windows into upcoming Marvel projects, often revealing character designs, vehicles, and even plot hints months ahead of a film’s release. The toy line has built a reputation for showing up with sets that occasionally feel like spoilers in disguise, and 2026 has been no exception given the scale of Doomsday’s marketing push.
Now a fresh wave of leaks has surfaced online, pointing to a packed slate of LEGO Marvel sets allegedly arriving in January 2027. According to a report from Brick Fanatics, citing leaker BrickTap via maxbautde and a.clay.brick, the rumored lineup includes eight different sets, though no pricing has been revealed for any of them yet.
The set generating the most buzz among Doomsday watchers is labeled 67003 Thor vs Doctor Doom Mechs. Per the report, this 237 piece set is expected to feature minifigures of Thor and Doctor Doom alongside their own mechs.
Given that Doctor Doom is positioned as the central antagonist of ‘Avengers Doomsday’, a set pairing him directly against Thor feels like a natural tie-in, and fans are already speculating about what his mech might reveal about his on-screen design.
Interestingly, the leaked lineup doesn’t stop at one Doom-related item. A separate listing for 67006 Marvel Skyline, said to come in at a hefty 1,261 pieces, has fans dreaming big about which iconic buildings could be represented.
According to additional details shared online, the set is rumored to include a Galactus minifigure along with Human Torch and Spider-Man nanofigs, and is said to potentially depict structures like the Daily Bugle, Oscorp, Avengers Tower, the Baxter Building, the Sanctum Sanctorum, Fisk Tower, the X Mansion, and possibly Roxxon Tower, with builds of the Quinjet, the Fantasticar, an X Jet, and the Fantastic Four’s rocket also included.
Spider-Man fans are getting plenty to look forward to as well. The leaked slate reportedly includes 67001 Spider-Man vs. Demogoblin at 82 pieces, 67004 Spider Man vs Green Goblin at 240 pieces featuring Spider-Man, Green Goblin, and Mary Jane, and 67002 Scarlet Spider Mech at 146 pieces. There’s also 67022 Spider-Man Buildable Logo, said to weigh in at 480 pieces and feature a Symbiote Suit Spider-Man minifigure.
Rounding out the rumored wave are two more unusual entries. 67005 Strange Supreme Sanctum is said to be an 814-piece set built around the zombie variant of Doctor Strange from ‘What If’, reportedly including Zombie Thor, Zombie Iron Man, Zombie Wanda, Zombie Namor, a Spider-Man minifigure, and Strange Supreme himself. Meanwhile, 67023 Jeff the Land Shark, the beloved pet of Gwenpool and Kate Bishop, is rumored to be at 495 pieces, giving fans of the offbeat Marvel character something to look forward to.
According to the same coverage, the breadth of this rumored Marvel slate stands out when compared to LEGO’s reported DC plans for the same window, which reportedly consist of just a pair of Batmobile sets. The report notes that Marvel’s upcoming film slate includes ‘Avengers Secret Wars’ and ‘Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse’, both of which could factor into future LEGO waves.
As always with leaks of this nature, none of these sets have been officially confirmed by LEGO or Marvel, and set names, piece counts, and character lineups can change before any formal announcement. Still, for a fandom that has been starved of concrete Doctor Doom details ahead of ‘Avengers Doomsday’, even a rumored mech set is enough to spark plenty of conversation.
