Lewis Pullman Apparently Hasn’t Read Any ‘Doomsday’ Scrpits Yet and Knows Very Little About Sentry’s Role in the Movie

Thanks to the Thunderbolts* movie, Sentry has finally made his MCU debut and a lot of fans are happy to see the powerful character in the franchise. In his debut, he was portrayed by Lewis Pullman.

Pullman is set to reprise his role in other, upcoming projects and the first one will be Avengers: Doomsday, which is Marvel’s major movie coming out next year.

In light of the confirmed return, Pullman was recently asked about his role in Doomsday and the answer might actually surprise you.

The interview in question was conducted by Josh Horowitz, who spoke with Pullman about Sentry and the MCU. The full interview is available here:

As for the most important aspect related to this article, Horowitz at one point opened the topic of Pullman’s appearance in Doomsday and he asked the actor how much he knew about Sentry’s role in Doomsday from 1-10.

Interestingly enough, Pullman gave the answer “2,” implying that he knows little to nothing about what Sentry is going to do in the movie, as he hasn’t read any of the written materials yet. He did confirm that the teaser at the end of Thunderbolts* was shot by the Russo Brothers and that, tehnically, that scene is part of Doomsday, but that’s about as much as he’s read.

He did confirm that Bob, the version of his character from the ending, is in a state of “idle hibernation,” and that the Thunderbolts don’t trust him at this point because they are afraid he might wreak havoc once again, which is why his position will remain specific in Doomsday as well.

This isn’t much, but seeing how Pullman hasn’t, according to his own words, read much of the story, this is more than enough to keep us going for now.
