[Video] Lex Luthor’s (Alleged) Cat Does Something Unspeakable To ‘Superman’ Premiere Red Carpet —Then Casually Walks Away
Snyderverse fandom just got its spirit animal.
During the recent Superman premiere, one fan caught something amazing on camera. A white cat started defecating on the red carpet and then casually walked away. This is pretty on-brand for the animal, as every cat owner knows that the fancier the carpet is, the more likely it is that it’s getting sh**** on.
The fans’ reactions were priceless, with hilarious comments suggesting the cat might be Lex Luthor’s or just feeling salty because Krypto plays such a big role in the movie.

Even though Superman isn’t usually associated with cats, his cousin Supergirl is. She does have Streaky the Supercat, a pet cat who gained superpowers through exposure to X-Kryptonite, such as flight, super-strength, super-speed, invulnerability, and enhanced vision abilities, among other Kryptonian powers.
His distinctive mark is a lightning bolt in his fur running along both sides. He is also a member of the Legion of Super-Pets, alongside other super-powered animals such as Krypto, Beppo, and Comet
In any case, Streaky is mad that it doesn’t have any screentime.
The upcoming Superman movie, directed by James Gunn, stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman. The film shows Superman trying to balance his alien roots with his life on Earth. It features other characters like Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and several other superheroes. The story and characters are inspired by popular comics like All-Star Superman.
The movie is part of the new DC Universe and will be released on July 11, 2025.
The movie stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult plays the villain Lex Luthor. The film also features Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl. Several other actors play important roles, including Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell as Superman’s adoptive parents.
