Lili Reinhart Makes a Statement in a Fully See Through Elisabetta Franchi Dress
Actor Lili Reinhart drew a lot of attention during her visit to the Getty Images Portrait Studio at the SXSW festival in Austin on March 15. Photos from the event quickly spread online, mainly because of the bold outfit she chose while promoting her new film.
Reinhart was in Texas for the premiere of her upcoming movie Forbidden Fruits. For the portrait session, she wore a sheer midi dress created by fashion designer Elisabetta Franchi. The dress used a thin knit fabric that made the dress look almost completely transparent.
Under the dress, Reinhart wore black high-waisted briefs and a matching balconette bra. She also added a wide leather belt with an uneven shape and a large gold buckle that helped shape the outfit and highlight her waist.

The look was finished with simple black heels that had thin ankle straps. Reinhart kept the rest of her styling neat and polished. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a sleek bun with a side part, allowing the outfit to stay the main focus in the photos.
Her makeup followed the same simple approach. She went with defined eyes and a soft nude lip, creating a clean and elegant beauty look. Images from the portrait studio circulated widely on social media, where fans and fashion watchers quickly started discussing the outfit.

The movie also features a cast of younger stars, including Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti, and Alexandra Shipp. Internet personality Emma Chamberlain also appears in the film, marking her first acting role. The project was produced by Oscar winner Diablo Cody.
Early reactions from SXSW audiences suggest the movie mixes horror and comedy with a strong focus on style and modern pop culture. Some critics have described the film as a flashy slasher story that explores the complicated side of female friendships.
Reinhart’s upcoming schedule shows she is continuing to expand her work in different genres. She will star in the film adaptation of The Love Hypothesis, where she plays a biology student named Olive.
She is also set to appear in the political thriller The Very Best People. At the same time, viewers can currently see her in the limited series Hal & Harper alongside actors Mark Ruffalo and Cooper Raiff.
Outside of acting, Reinhart has been building her own production company called Small Victory Productions. She also runs a skincare brand named Personal Day, which focuses on products made for people with acne-prone skin.
Her appearance at SXSW, along with the buzz around Forbidden Fruits, shows that Reinhart is continuing to grow her career beyond television. With several films and projects already lined up, she remains a familiar face in both the indie film world and mainstream entertainment.
