She tried Botox for the first time at 60 but said the experience was uncomfortable. “It caused some eye irritation and left a weird pattern on my forehead,” she explained. “It just wasn’t for me.” She admitted she sometimes fears seeing herself age like her grandmother, but she’s also excited about the “older roles” she can now play.

The Friends icon reflected on her career-defining role as Phoebe Buffay, saying she has no regrets about the show. “If all you know that I’ve ever done is Friends, how could I not be okay with that?” she said.

Kudrow’s appearance also coincided with the premiere of the third and final season of her cult-favorite series The Comeback on HBO. She co-created the show with Michael Patrick King and serves as both executive producer and writer.

In the new season, her character, Valerie Cherish, navigates a Hollywood now influenced by artificial intelligence. Valerie lands a role in a multi-cam sitcom called How’s That?, only to discover the scripts are being written by AI. The season features a guest appearance by Andrew Scott, who plays a studio executive encouraging Valerie to embrace the new technology.

Filming took place on the historic Warner Bros. lot, the same place where Friends was shot, which Kudrow described as a full-circle and emotional experience. Beyond The Comeback, she remains active in other projects, including the 2024 Apple TV+ adventure series Time Bandits.

Through her work and public appearances, Kudrow continues to stand out for embracing aging naturally. Fans and the media alike have praised her for showing that confidence and authenticity can be just as powerful as youth in Hollywood.
