Livvy Dunne Lands Role in the Upcoming ‘Baywatch’ Reboot

The famous lifeguard drama Baywatch is getting a new life on television, and a new face is joining the cast. Livvy Dunne, the 23-year-old social media star and former LSU gymnast, has officially signed on to appear in the upcoming reboot being developed by Fox.

According to early reports about the show, Dunne will play a character named Grace. She is described as an eager junior lifeguard who is excited to prove herself while working on the beach. The role marks Dunne’s first major step into scripted television and signals a new direction in her career.

The storyline becomes more complicated when Hobie’s daughter suddenly appears. The character, Charlie, played by Jessica Belkin, arrives to join the team and train as a lifeguard under her father’s supervision. Her arrival creates both family tension and new challenges on the beach.

The original Baywatch series ran from 1989 until 2001 and became one of the most recognizable television shows of its era. Known for its beach rescues, dramatic moments, and famous slow-motion running scenes, the show developed a huge international audience during its long run.
