Macaulay Culkin, 45, Surprises Onlookers in Paris With Painted Nails During Public Appearance
Macaulay Culkin drew plenty of attention this week when he arrived in Paris for the Dior menswear show. The actor showed up with a playful outfit that quickly got people talking, especially about one small detail.
Culkin wore a white jumper featuring the famous character from Eric Carle’s 1969 children’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. He layered it over a neat blue shirt, giving the outfit a slightly polished look while still keeping things relaxed.
He paired the jumper with rolled-up blue jeans and brown Dior trainers. The look felt casual but stylish, fitting the fashion show setting at the Jardin des Tuileries, where photographers gathered to capture celebrity arrivals.

But the thing that grabbed the most attention was not the jumper or the shoes. It was Culkin’s brightly painted nails. As photos from the event spread online, many fans quickly pointed out the colorful nails as the most memorable part of his appearance.
The Paris outing came during an emotional week for the actor. Culkin recently shared a tribute on Instagram after the death of his Home Alone co-star, Catherine O’Hara. In his Instagram post, he reflected on their long friendship and wrote a heartfelt message. “Mama. I thought we had time. I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you.”
Culkin has also been making more public appearances lately. Earlier this year, he attended the Golden Globe Awards for the first time in 35 years. During the ceremony, he presented the award for Best Screenplay and joked with the audience about his long absence. “Shockingly, I do exist all year round.”
The 45-year-old actor has been busy with different projects in recent years. He appeared in the popular streaming series Fallout and also lent his voice to the upcoming animated film Zootopia 2.
Even though he often jokes that he is basically retired, Culkin has said he is still open to interesting roles. In past interviews, he has even shared a funny idea for a possible Home Alone sequel.
