That was exactly the mood surrounding the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Onslaught,’ A24’s upcoming action-horror thriller from director Adam Wingard, held at Regal L.A. Live. The event brought together much of the film’s ensemble cast, including Drew Starkey, Dan Stevens, Reginald VelJohnson, and Michael Biehn, all gathering to celebrate the project ahead of its theatrical debut.
At the center of the evening was Adria Arjona, who stunned in a striking strapless black gown for the occasion, a striking contrast to the rugged, battle-worn persona she takes on for the film itself. Beyond ‘Onslaught,’ Arjona has plenty on the horizon, with upcoming roles in the Superman follow-up ‘Man of Tomorrow’ and a Michael B. Jordan-led remake of ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’ already lined up. Reflecting on what draws her to new projects these days, she’s said her focus has shifted toward material that genuinely challenges her, something that scares her in the best possible way.
The film’s ensemble cast rounds out with Eric Wareheim, Alex Pereira, and Rebecca Hall, contributing to what A24 has described as one of the studio’s most ambitious genre offerings to date.
