Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi are currently the talk of Hollywood as they gear up for the release of their high-intensity gothic romance. During a recent sit-down with Screenrant, the two stars shared some lighthearted insights into what makes them swoon in real life. The conversation took a playful turn when Robbie was asked about the subtle romantic gestures that instantly grab her attention.

Pointing toward Elordi, Robbie revealed a very specific move that she finds irresistible. I think I said this to you once, so isn’t that kind of like swoon worthy and I don’t know why it’s like when a guy is like when the guy is like reverse, like reversing and he does like this on a steering wheel, she shared. She even mimicked the circular palm motions of a driver looking backward while navigating a car into reverse.

The actress couldn’t help but laugh as she tried to pinpoint exactly why the mundane act of parking feels so magnetic. I don’t know why, that’s so hot, Robbie explained while Elordi nodded along in agreement. Curious if there was a female version of this attraction, she asked him if there was a specific equivalent for men.

Elordi didn’t hesitate with his answer, leaning into his own Australian roots and love for rugged vehicles. It’s when they reverse their truck, I love it, he said with a smile.

The duo is currently promoting Emerald Fennell’s bold new adaptation of Wuthering Heights, where they star as the iconic literary pair Catherine and Heathcliff. The film is set to hit theaters on February 13, just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend. This version is expected to be much more steamy and modern than previous adaptations of the Emily Brontë classic.

Margot Robbie has had a massive few years, following up the global phenomenon of Barbie with several high-profile producing roles through her company, LuckyChap. In addition to Wuthering Heights, she is rumored to be working on an Ocean’s Eleven prequel and a live-action Monopoly movie. She has become one of the most powerful producers in the industry while maintaining her status as a top-tier leading lady.

Jacob Elordi is also on a major hot streak after his acclaimed performances in Priscilla and Saltburn. He starred as the monster in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, a project that had fans incredibly intrigued. He will also return for the long-awaited third season of Euphoria, though he has increasingly focused on prestige cinema in recent years.

The cast of Wuthering Heights also includes Hong Chau as Nelly Dean and Shazad Latif as Edgar Linton. Director Emerald Fennell, who previously worked with Elordi on Saltburn, has described this film as a primal and passionate reimagining of the source material. Early reactions to the film have praised the scorching chemistry between the two leads.
