Marvel Producer Announces End Date for the Multiverse Saga
In the early days of American comic books, which began in the early 20th century, there was only a single narrative universe. This continued for decades until publishers introduced alternative stories, leading to the creation of the Multiverse. This concept has since become a staple not just in comics but also in superhero films.
The Multiverse is a complex idea, and even characters within these stories sometimes struggle to grasp it. In the MCU, the fabric of reality began to unravel towards the end of the Infinity Saga, giving way to the current Multiverse Saga.
Although the Multiverse Saga has faced some challenges, Marvel is optimistic that upcoming projects like “Doomsday” and “Secret Wars” will deliver a spectacular conclusion and pave the way for the next saga. So, when can we expect the Multiverse Saga to wrap up? A Marvel producer might have the answer!
Brad Winderbaum, a crucial figure at Marvel, currently serves as the Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation. He was also previously the Vice President of Production and Development. As the executive producer of Agatha All Along, he recently spoke with our friends at ScreenRant, sharing intriguing insights about the series and the broader MCU landscape.
During the conversation, Screen Rant inquired about the Multiverse Saga, seeking details on when this current phase of the MCU is expected to conclude according to Marvel’s plans.
It’s interesting, you said Ghost Rider too….I’m just saying! Currently, there’s a lot about what’s coming for Phase 6, with The Multiverse Saga coming to an end. How much more is there still left to reveal, considering there’s only three years left until [Avengers:] Secret Wars, which is likely going to close out that entire saga?
Brad Winderbaum: I think that’s [what] Secret Wars is going to be an amazing culmination to the saga. I think it’s going to make the journey feel like it was a worthwhile.
