‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ Episode 9 Release Date and Time, Everything to Know Before the Penultimate Chapter
Apple TV’s twisty little thriller has quietly become one of the most rewarding watches of the summer, and it has done so almost entirely through slow, patient escalation. What started as an off kilter story about a divorced mom’s messy online romance has spiraled into a genuine conspiracy thriller, and the show has earned every twist along the way.
That patience paid off in a big way during the most recent episode, which saw Paula Saunders locked in a prison cell while Rudy unknowingly stumbled into serious danger of his own. With only two chapters left before the season wraps, fans have understandably been counting down the days until the next installment drops.
That wait is almost over, since ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ Episode 9 is officially set to premiere on Wednesday, July 8, continuing the weekly release pattern the series has maintained since its double episode debut back in May. The episode is titled Erroneous, following the pattern of single word episode titles the show has used all season.
New episodes of the series have consistently dropped in the early morning hours, and Episode 9 should follow that same schedule. Based on the release pattern established throughout the season, viewers can expect the episode at midnight Pacific Time and 3am Eastern Time, with availability rolling out globally according to local time zones.
‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ remains exclusive to Apple TV, which requires an active subscription priced at 12.99 dollars a month following the standard seven day free trial. The platform is accessible through the Apple TV app across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV devices, Android devices, smart TVs, streaming sticks, and most major gaming consoles.

With Paula still reeling from her arrest and Rudy now sitting on a dangerous secret involving a phone tied to the season’s central conspiracy, Episode 9 has plenty of tension to work with heading into the final stretch. The previous episode ended with members of the criminal organization realizing someone had reactivated the device, which puts Rudy squarely in harm’s way just as the season barrels toward its conclusion.
Only one episode will remain after this one, with the finale titled Queens set to close out the season on July 15. That title alone has already sparked plenty of speculation among fans, since it hints that Paula’s story may ultimately circle back to something rooted much closer to home than the sprawling conspiracy has suggested so far.
Creator David J. Rosen has spoken about the show’s approach to suspense, telling Gold Derby that keeping a persistent threat lingering in the background without revealing exactly when it will strike has been central to how he wanted the tension to build. That philosophy has clearly shaped the back half of this season, where danger rarely announces itself before it is already too late.
Tatiana Maslany continues to anchor the series as Paula, supported by a cast that includes Jake Johnson, Dolly de Leon, Charlie Hall, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg, Jon Michael Hill, and Murray Bartlett. With the show’s central mystery finally converging across its remaining storylines, Episode 9 looks positioned to set the stage for a genuinely high-stakes finale.
For now, fans will simply have to wait until Wednesday to see how much closer Paula gets to the truth, and whether Rudy manages to survive what he has unknowingly walked into. What are you hoping to see resolved before the season finale arrives? Share your predictions in the comments.
