Men Turn To Plastic Surgery With Channing Tatum and Brad Pitt as Role Models
Barry Keoghan has been turning heads at London Fashion Week, but not just for his acting. The 33-year-old Irish star appeared near Tower Bridge for the Burberry show on Sunday, February 22, and fans quickly noticed a very big change in his face.
Photos of the actor sparked a large conversation online, with many pointing out that his lips looked fuller and his jawline sharper than ever before. Social media users suggested that he might have had cosmetic work done, such as lip and jaw fillers.
While it’s common for female stars to talk about these treatments, male actors in Hollywood rarely discuss them publicly. Experts say that Barry’s appearance reflects a growing trend of men considering subtle facial procedures. Dr. Barbara Kubicka from ClinicBe told reporters that his look has sparked discussion about male facial enhancements.
“Whether that is down to treatment, lighting, or natural variation remains to be seen, but it shows how closely people are watching male stars now,” she explained. She added that surgeons are seeing more men request small “tweakments” to look refreshed or symmetrical.

Studies show that around one in six men has considered getting fillers, often inspired by celebrities like Channing Tatum or Brad Pitt. Dr. Kubicka noted that these treatments are now seen in the same category as skincare, dental work, or haircare, rather than something extreme.
Barry has been busy with his career, which may explain why he wants to maintain a polished look. He recently starred in the crime thriller Crime 101, released on February 13, playing a rival art thief named Orman alongside Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Halle Berry.
He is also working on a massive project portraying Ringo Starr in a series of Beatles biopics directed by Sam Mendes. There are four films in total, each focusing on a different band member. Barry has been spotted in Liverpool with a shaggy haircut for the role and has even taken drum lessons to perfect his performance.
Between high-profile film projects and red-carpet appearances, Barry Keoghan is keeping busy while showing that male actors are increasingly paying attention to their looks. His recent appearance at London Fashion Week has sparked conversations about male cosmetic treatments and the changing expectations for Hollywood men.
