Few animated series have grown into global phenomena quite like the French superhero hit about two Parisian teenagers who transform into Ladybug and Cat Noir. Since debuting in France in October 2015, ‘Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir’ has expanded into about 150 countries, spawning specials, spin-offs, merchandise and even a Netflix movie.

The series, created by Thomas Astruc and developed by Jeremy Zag, follows Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste as they protect Paris from the villain behind a swarm of akumatized citizens. Its Disney Channel run, which began in April 2019, helped turn it into a fixture of the network’s lineup.

Now fans finally know when the next chapter arrives. The seventh season of ‘Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir’ is gearing up for a global rollout across Disney, France’s TF1 and Brazil’s Globo, with the U.S. and Latin America premiere set for Disney Channel on November 20 and a Disney+ launch the following day.

The rollout begins earlier in some regions. In France, the first episodes are listed to air on TF1 on November 1, while Disney Channel in parts of Europe and other regions follows later in the month.

In the United States, the new season debuts on Disney Channel on November 20, with Disney+ getting it the next day. Disney Branded Television acquired both seasons 6 and 7 along with three original animated specials, with new episodes arriving on Disney Channels worldwide before heading to Disney+ globally.

The season is slated to include 26 episodes. The first six have been named as ‘Replay Value’, ‘Chrysalis’, ‘Dislove’, ‘Manageman’, ‘Marinette Dupain-Cheng’ and ‘Glaciator’.

According to the official synopsis, Marinette’s personal life is shaken in the first episodes. She discovers new allies she can rely on and talk to more openly than ever, while learning that some people around her aren’t who they seem and could betray her at the first opportunity.

The newly released trailer sharpens the stakes. After her failed attack at the end of season six, Lila, now known as Cerise, shifts her focus to Marinette’s loved ones in an attempt to force her to reveal her identity as Ladybug.

It’s a pointed escalation for a series that has long built its drama around secret identities. Monarch, the main supervillain, has already gained control of nearly all of the Miraculous in earlier seasons, leaving Ladybug and Cat Noir almost alone.

In the English-language version, Cristina Vee voices Marinette/Ladybug and Bryce Papenbrook voices Adrien/Cat Noir. Both actors have appeared at media events over the years to talk about the show and its themes, including its diverse characters and empowering messages for kids.

The pair also star in the English dub of the 2023 movie ‘Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie’, which streams on Netflix, alongside Keith Silverstein as Gabriel Agreste/Hawk Moth.

The series has been a long-running success story for independent animation. Its Disney deal, announced years ago, covered both the sixth and seventh seasons, and production on an eighth season was greenlit in July 2022.

Season 6 premiered on Disney Channel in January 2025, and the new season arrives after a long wait for many fans. The franchise has also been expanding beyond the cartoon, with a live-action film long in development and a live-action TV series on the way.

With a trailer, a synopsis and a release date in hand, the marketing push for the new season is officially underway. The season’s six announced episode titles hint at themes of time, love and identity, and early details suggest Marinette will face some of her biggest challenges yet.
