Modern Family Cast Back Together With Sofia Vergara Leading The Moment
Modern Family fans got a surprise this week when Sofía Vergara shared photos from a recent reunion with some of her former castmates. The actress posted the pictures on Instagram, showing herself spending time with Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Ferguson’s husband, Justin Mikita, was also there, making the moment feel even more personal.
For the relaxed get-together, Vergara went with a stylish but simple look. She wore a fitted brown knit dress with a matching leather jacket and carried a beige handbag. Her hair was worn loose, giving the outfit an easy, polished feel. One selfie of the group quickly caught fans’ attention. Vergara captioned the photo “Reunited!” along with red heart emojis.
This was not the first time the Modern Family cast has come together since the show ended in 2020. Over the years, there have been several small reunions. Vergara has even hosted gatherings at her home in Los Angeles. During one past meetup, she joked about Ty Burrell not being there by posing with a framed photo of him.
In past interviews, Vergara has said the cast still stays close. She shared that they are all part of a large group chat and described their bond by saying, “we are still like a family.” According to her, they continue to support each other through work and personal moments.
Vergara also spoke to People about how the pandemic affected their connection at first. She explained that the world shut down just two weeks after they finished filming the final season, which made it harder to stay in touch. Over time, though, they made the effort to reconnect, and fans clearly love seeing them together again. Many followers commented on the Instagram post asking for a reunion special or even a reboot.
Outside of the reunion, Vergara is heading into a busy year. She recently teamed up with Octavia Spencer for a public health campaign called Detect the SOS. According to reports, the campaign will include a short film airing during Super Bowl LX on February 8. The project focuses on early kidney disease detection and features both actresses in a playful mission-style ad.
Vergara has also been making appearances at major events. She recently walked the red carpet at the premiere of Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir, a documentary about Paris Hilton. She attended with her close friend Heidi Klum.
She continues to serve as a judge on America’s Got Talent, where she remains a fan favorite. Alongside television work, she is focused on growing her business projects, including her beauty brand Toty and her Colombian coffee line ¡Dios Mío!
