More Evidence Suggests ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Trailer Could Drop Within Hours
Marvel fans are once again talking about Avengers: Doomsday, after new rumors suggested that the first trailer could arrive much sooner than expected. The discussion started after online activity and social media posts pointed to a possible surprise reveal tied to an upcoming event.
The information comes from reports circulating on various social media, where Donald Mustard, former creative director of Fortnite and now part of AGBO, the Russo brothers’ production company, shared details about an event in London.
In his post, Mustard mentioned that the event would begin at 10 a.m. local time, but what really caught attention was a line referring to a “surprise at 2pm.” He did not explain what the surprise would be, but fans quickly began linking it to Avengers: Doomsday.
Around the same time, fan accounts online shared what appear to be screenshots from international Marvel social media pages, including Marvel Korea, Marvel India, and Marvel Singapore. These posts suggest that a video is currently hidden on YouTube, which has added more fuel to the speculation that something related to the film may be prepared for release.
The timing of all this has also drawn attention because Avengers: Doomsday directors Joe and Anthony Russo are scheduled to appear at SXSW London 2026. Donald Mustard is also expected to attend the same event as part of AGBO. With several key names connected to the film appearing in the same place, fans believe it increases the chance of a major announcement.
This is not the first time the Russo brothers have teased something related to the project. Recently, they posted an image that was only a single green color.
At first, it seemed like a random post, but later speculation linked the color to Latveria, the fictional country ruled by Doctor Doom in Marvel Comics. Some fans also pointed out symbols tied to Doctor Doom appearing in related teaser activity, which led to even more theories about the film’s direction and marketing.
Still, not everyone believes the trailer will drop during this event. Some fans think Marvel might save the first major look for a bigger stage, such as San Diego Comic-Con, which is known for major announcements and exclusive footage reveals. Others believe Marvel could instead focus on Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is expected to release new promotional material before Avengers: Doomsday.
At this point, Marvel Studios has not made any official statement about a trailer or surprise release. Everything remains unconfirmed, and all current talk is based on speculation, social media clues, and timing around upcoming events.
Even without confirmation, excitement continues to build. Whether the surprise turns out to be a full trailer, a short teaser, or something else entirely connected to Doctor Doom, fans are clearly expecting something big to arrive soon for Avengers: Doomsday.
