Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, recently spoke about just how much money he has given away over the years. Reports had suggested the YouTube star had distributed around $200 million over the past decade, but Donaldson hinted the real number could be even higher.

In a post on X on March 9, he wrote, “I haven’t done the math, but I feel like it’s prob higher tbh.” He explained that keeping track of all his giveaways is nearly impossible now, as his projects have grown from giving cars to friends to hosting multi-million-dollar events.

One of his latest big ventures, Beast Games on Prime Video, just finished its second season with a $5 million grand prize. Tyler Lucas, the winner, earned the money after completing the challenging “Strong vs. Smart” competition that featured 200 contestants.

Donaldson’s giveaways go far beyond just cash prizes. He has created massive puzzles and contests, including a $1 million Super Bowl puzzle that was recently solved, adding another seven-figure sum to his total. To keep up with these projects, his company, Beast Industries, reportedly maintains a special reserve called the “Jimmy Fund.”

MrBeast also spends heavily on philanthropy. Through his Beast Philanthropy channel, he has funded global projects like building wells in Africa and paying for medical surgeries for thousands of people.

These initiatives involve huge costs beyond just the money given directly, which makes calculating his total donations even more complicated. Even when he isn’t giving away millions, Donaldson stays busy growing his business empire.

Beast Industries recently acquired Step, a financial app aimed at teaching young people about credit and saving. He is also involved in food ventures, including Lunchly, a snack-kit collaboration with Logan Paul and KSI that launched in late 2024.

Looking ahead, fans can expect even bigger events. Casting is underway for the third season of Beast Games, which will have one contestant from each country competing for another $5 million prize.

Filming is scheduled from April to July and will take place across 14 countries, including Monaco and Japan. As of March, MrBeast continues to dominate YouTube with over 470 million subscribers, a record-breaking number that keeps his influence at an all-time high.

With his goal of becoming the first YouTuber to reach a billion subscribers, Donaldson shows no signs of slowing down, reinvesting his earnings into increasingly ambitious content.
