Naomi Watts (57) Changes Her Hair and Debuts a Look Fans Did Not Expect

Naomi Watts showed off a very different look during Paris Fashion Week this past Sunday, March 8. The actress attended the Jean-Paul Gaultier show and surprised many people with a sleek hairstyle that replaced her well-known bouncy bob.

Her blonde hair was combed straight back, giving her a smooth and polished appearance. Watts paired the hairstyle with an asymmetrical white button-down shirt, a dark skirt, and strappy shoes. She finished the outfit with chunky silver jewelry, including a wide cuff bracelet, a large ring, and teardrop earrings.

The actress has been a regular guest during this season of Paris Fashion Week. She has appeared at several big shows, including Balmain, Mugler, Celine, Balenciaga, and Zimmermann.

At each event, she has changed her look slightly, sometimes wearing relaxed waves and other times choosing more structured hairstyles. At the Celine show, she went for a more relaxed outfit.

She wore a white shirt with the top buttons open, high-waisted jeans, and a boxy blazer. Later, at the Balenciaga show, she switched to a darker style with a strapless black top and tailored pants.

In an interview with WWD, Watts said her daughter Kai Schreiber helped spark her renewed interest in fashion. “She loves fashion, and that’s probably why I’ve sort of reinvested in it myself, although that’s where I started—in fashion—when I was, like, 19, 20,” she explained. “This is what she loves. This is what she wants to do, and she’s really good at it.”

Watts has also been busy with her acting career. Earlier this year, she appeared in the FX series Love Story, where she played Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The role brought new attention to her ability to step into famous real-life characters.
