Netflix Releases Full Trailer for Upcoming Slasher, ‘Fear Street: Prom Queen’

R. L. Stine is one of the most prolific and popular horror authors of all time. His work is marked by two major horror series – Goosebumps and Fear Street – the second of which is of interest to us in this report.

Namely, we know that Netflix recently revived the Fear Street movie franchise with three solid works, but it has been a while since a new project was released. But, it is coming out soon and Netflix is doing great work in preparing us for the premiere.

The streaming giant has just released the full proper trailer for Fear Street: Prom Queen, which is coming out on May 23, 2025, and we are going to show it to you here on ComicBasics!

The slasher will see India Fowler (The Agency) appear as Lori Granger, Suzanna Son (Red Rocket) as Megan Rogers, Fina Strazza (Paper Girls) as Tiffany Falconer, and Ella Rubin (Until Dawn) as Melissa Mckendrick, accompanied by David Iacono (Dead Boy Detectives), Chris Klein (American Pie), Lili Taylor (Daredevil: Born Again), Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts), and Brennan Clost (The Next Step), and Barbie and Ahsoka star Ariana Greenblatt, who will play Christy Renault.

A combination of youth and experience, Prom Queen is expected to continue the franchise in a proper way and provide us with a thrilling and scary slasher that we will be able to enjoy.

The official synopsis reveals the following: Prom at Shadyside High is underway and the school’s It Girls are busy jockeying for the crown. But when the candidates start to disappear, a gutsy outsider learns she’s in for one hell of a prom night.

As said, the movie is coming out on May 23, 2025 on Netflix.
