Netflix Releases Trailer for Upcoming True Crime Docuseries ‘Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story,’ Premieres in May

People like true crime shows. Especially true crime documentaries. And more so if they’re done in a quality way that engages the audience and that provides a proper, objective, and factual insight into a case, without sensationalist content.

And while such content is present everywhere, Netflix has been a pioneer of true crime docuseries in recent years and a new such series is going to premiere next month on the streaming giant.

This docuseries will take us to the United Kingdom and will explore the story of one of the most infamous serial killer couples not just in British, but in history in general. They are Fred and Rose West, and a trailer for the upcoming docuseries focusing on them has just been released.

Before we reveal more information, here is the creepy trailer:

Fred West is a notorious serial killer who murdered at least twelve women from 1967 to 1987 in Gloucestershire. Most of these murders have been committed with the help of his second wife, Rose. Both have been found guilty of murder and while Fred died in prison, Rose is still alive and is serving out her sentence.

The series made by Netflix won’t be the first one, as there have been several approaches to this grim story, but knowing the quality of Netflix’s production, we can expect another hit series.

The series itself will consist of three parts and will be released on May 13, 2025 on the streaming service.
