Netflix has had another strong week, with two very different titles making headlines on the platform’s latest viewership charts. The thriller series I Will Find You opened with massive numbers, while the romantic drama Voicemails for Isabelle also managed to attract a solid audience during its first days.

While I Will Find You dominated the series side, Netflix’s latest romantic comedy Voicemails for Isabelle also had a positive start.

The film collected 17.5 million views during its opening three days on Netflix, placing it seventh among English-language movies released on the platform in 2026 so far. It landed close to other romance titles, including People We Meet on Vacation, which earned 17.2 million views in its first week.

Voicemails for Isabelle follows Jill, a woman dealing with the sudden death of her sister Isabelle. As a way to handle her grief, Jill begins leaving voicemails on Isabelle’s old phone number. However, she does not know the number has been reassigned to Wes, a stranger who starts hearing her messages and slowly develops feelings for her.

The movie was written and directed by Leah McKendrick and stars Zoey Deutch, Nick Robinson, Harry Shum Jr., Lukas Gage and Nick Offerman. Although it is marketed as a romantic comedy, the story also focuses heavily on grief, healing and learning how to move forward after loss.

Compared with other Netflix romance movies from recent years, Voicemails for Isabelle performed slightly above average. While it did not reach the huge opening numbers of Netflix’s biggest films, the early results show that audiences are connecting with the emotional story.

The film has also received positive reactions from critics, with many praising the chemistry between Deutch and Robinson and the way the movie balances romance with a deeper emotional story.

Together, the success of I Will Find You and the steady performance of Voicemails for Isabelle show Netflix continues to find audiences for both mystery dramas and heartfelt romance stories. With strong early numbers, both titles are expected to remain popular on the platform in the weeks ahead.
