Marvel might be heading back to Berkshire for more filming on the upcoming movie Avengers: Doomsday. A new set could be built in Windsor Great Park, according to plans submitted to the local council by Marvelโ€™s UK-based company, For All Time Productions.

The new set is being called โ€œAnnie Reynoldsโ€™ house.โ€ Annie Reynolds is Sentryโ€™s mother, and Sentry, following his debut in Thunderbolts*, is one of the most powerful and mysterious characters currently in the MCU.

A leak earlier this year revealed her possible role in the film. The house would be placed by Prince Consortโ€™s Drive, not far from the Windsor Great Park Environmental Centre.

Marvel wants to start building in mid-July and finish taking the set down by the end of September. Filming is expected to happen over just one day in August.

The press recently revealed a fresh and detailed look at a house already built, it’s a 1960s house which is currently named as “Luke Cage” house in production materials:

A service pad for equipment and trucks would also be added nearby, crossing into an area managed by Bracknell Forest Council. Marvel hasnโ€™t officially applied to Bracknell Forest yet, but theyโ€™ve already sent over the plans for review.

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is currently considering the application. That same council has already approved another Marvel film set just west of the area, along Dukeโ€™s Lane.

The park is owned by the Crown Estates, which means King Charles gets 25% of the profits. While the exact filming cost isnโ€™t known, a source said that a few million pounds is a small amount for Marvel, since their movies make huge money.

The money from the shoot will help maintain the park, and since it benefits the Crown Estates, the King has a reason to be interested. Thereโ€™s even a chance some members of the Royal Family might visit the set.

Documents say around 300 people, including cast and crew, will be working there during the summer shoot.

The cast of Avengers: Doomsday is massive. It includes Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Vanessa Kirby, Letitia Wright, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Florence Pugh, Simu Liu, and many more. It also brings back actors from the X-Men universe like Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, and even Hugh Jackmanโ€™s Wolverineโ€”though that last bit hasnโ€™t been confirmed.

In the movie, the Avengers team up with the Wakandans, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and the New Avengers to take on Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit U.S. theaters on December 18, 2026. It will be part of Marvelโ€™s Phase Six. The sequel, Secret Wars, is planned for release on December 17, 2027.
