That connection to the Department of Damage Control has fueled the dominant fan theory that Sink is playing Jean Grey, the iconic X-Men character known for her powerful telepathic and telekinetic abilities. Given that Wonder Man previously confirmed the Department of Damage Control is being positioned as an anti mutant organization within the MCU’s broader Mutant Saga, a mutant character being detained by the agency would track narratively with everything Marvel has built so far.

Adding to that theory, a newer clip released this week shows Sink’s character using what appears to be mind control abilities from a distance, further supporting the idea that she possesses telepathic powers consistent with Jean Grey’s comic book history.
