New Street Promo For ‘Brand New Day’ Might Be The Craziest We’ve Seen Yet

Marvel’s marketing machine has been in overdrive for weeks now, and fans have gotten used to seeing Spider-Man branding pop up in the most unexpected corners of the globe. From billboards to full building takeovers, the studio has clearly decided that no city block is safe from a little friendly neighborhood advertising.

Tom Holland’s fourth solo outing as Peter Parker has become one of the most heavily promoted Marvel releases in recent memory. Marvel Studios has been ramping up promotional efforts as the film’s release nears, rolling out new promos and billboards across multiple countries including Mexico and displays as prominent as Times Square. The campaign has stretched from massive digital billboards to oddball brand tie ins, showing just how far Sony is willing to go to keep ‘Brand New Day‘ in front of as many eyeballs as possible.

Now the marketing has taken an even wilder turn overseas. A new street promo spotted in Bulgaria shows a giant web stretched across an entire building, wrapping around balconies and windows like Spider-Man himself swung through and left the mess behind. The video quickly made the rounds online as one of the most elaborate physical promos yet for the film, with the caption noting the movie hits theatres July 31.

That release date has been locked in for a while now. ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is officially scheduled for a July 31, 2026 release in the United States, with UK audiences seeing it two days earlier on July 29. The trailer itself has already shattered records, with Sony reporting that it passed 1.1 billion views within just four days, making it one of the biggest movie trailer debuts on record.

The film picks up years after the memory wiping ending of ‘No Way Home,’ with Peter Parker now living life without anyone remembering who he once was. Fighting crime full time as Spider-Man in a world that has forgotten him, and watching his old friends move on without him, sparks a change in Peter that he may not have the power to control. That transformation ends up being the only thing standing between the city and a new threat unlike anything he has faced before.

Destin Daniel Cretton takes over directing duties, bringing back Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon, while adding Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, and Michael Mando as Scorpion to the ensemble. It is a stacked lineup that has fans buzzing about just how many villains and allies this film can juggle at once, and the marketing so far has leaned hard into that street level chaos.

International promo stunts like the one in Bulgaria only add to the sense that this rollout has become an event unto itself, almost matching the scale of the movie it is selling. Between billboards, brand collaborations, and now giant webs draped across entire buildings, it feels like there is nowhere left for ‘Brand New Day’ hype to hide.

Which country do you think will pull off the next over the top ‘Brand New Day’ street promo before July 31 hits?
