New ‘Yellowstone’ Spin-Off ‘Dutton Ranch’ Trailer Teases Beth and Rip’s Texas War
A new trailer for the Yellowstone spin-off Dutton Ranch has been released, and it makes one thing very clear: peace is not part of Beth and Rip’s future.
The information comes from the official trailer and series details released by Paramount+. The new show continues the story from Yellowstone and focuses on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler as they try to build a new life in Texas.
In the trailer, the tone is intense and violent, with the idea that survival in their new home will not come easy. The series description explains the situation in direct terms, saying, “As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together — far from the ghosts of ‘Yellowstone’ — they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire.”
It also adds, “In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.”
The trailer shows Beth and Rip facing a powerful new ranching family in Texas, setting up a conflict that feels just as dangerous as anything they dealt with before. The phrase “peace will have to wait” appears in the full trailer, reinforcing the idea that their new life will quickly turn into another war.
Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser return in their original roles as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler. The cast also includes Finn Little, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, Natalie Alyn Lind, Ed Harris, and Annette Bening.
The series is created by Chad Feehan and is part of the larger Yellowstone franchise, serving as both a spin-off and continuation of the original story. It is also the fifth series in the expanding universe.
According to Paramount+, Dutton Ranch will premiere on May 15, with the first two episodes releasing together. After that, new episodes will be released weekly. The show will stream on Paramount+ and also air on Paramount Network on Fridays at 8/7c.
With its mix of family drama, land conflict, and violent rivalry, the trailer suggests that Beth and Rip’s new chapter in Texas will be anything but peaceful.
