Lionsgate has dropped the first trailer for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the third film in the magic-heist franchise. The movie is locked in for a theatrical release on November 14.

The studio teased the film’s setup with an official line: “The Four Horsemen return along with a new generation of illusionists performing mind-melding twists, turns, surprises, and magic unlike anything ever captured on film.”

This new entry is directed by Ruben Fleischer. The script comes from Seth Grahame-Smith, Michael Lesslie, and the team of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, based on a story by Eric Warren Singer. Producers Bobby Cohen and Alex Kurtzman are behind the project.

Fans will see familiar faces return, including Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman. Isla Fisher, who was not part of the second movie, is back as well.

New actors joining the cast are Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt, and Rosamund Pike. Michael Caine is not featured, and while Mark Ruffalo is missing from the trailer, reports confirm he will appear.

The plot centers on the Horsemen regrouping to pull off another high-stakes trick. This time, they aim to steal the largest queen diamond in the world from a powerful crime family. Pike plays Veronika Vanderberg, who leads the criminal group standing in their way.

Production began in mid-2024, with filming taking place in Budapest, Belgium, and Abu Dhabi. Locations included landmarks like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Ferrari World. The shoot wrapped in November of that year. George Richmond worked as cinematographer, and composer Brian Tyler—who scored the first two films—is returning once again.

Plans for a third film had been in the works for years. The title Now You See Me: Now You Don’t was first suggested for the second movie but wasn’t used until now. Lionsgate also confirmed during CinemaCon 2025 that a fourth installment is already in development, with Fleischer staying on board to direct.
