Olivia Wilde was recently spotted out and about in Los Angeles, keeping things simple and stylish during a solo lunch outing. According to photos taken on February 9, the 41-year-old actor and director headed to the popular neighborhood spot Little Dom’s in Los Feliz for a quiet afternoon meal.

Wilde’s look was relaxed but polished, matching her usual easygoing style. She wore a white graphic T-shirt and layered it with a fitted gray blazer. The outfit felt very “off-duty,” especially when paired with classic blue jeans. She finished the look with black sunglasses and carried a burgundy Chloé Paddington shoulder bag, adding a small pop of color to her otherwise neutral outfit.

The lunch outing came just days after Wilde was also photographed leaving the Tracy Anderson gym. While her street style often gets attention, most of the focus right now is on her growing momentum behind the camera.

As of February, Wilde is coming off a strong showing at the Sundance Film Festival. Her third film as a director, The Invite, premiered at the event and quickly became one of the most talked-about titles. The film was picked up by A24 soon after its debut.

The movie is described as a “marital s*x comedy”* and stars Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton, with Wilde also appearing on screen. Critics praised the film for its sharp writing and strong performances, calling it a confident return to form for Wilde. The story takes place mostly in one location and leans heavily on character and dialogue.

Wilde is also staying busy as an actor. She recently wrapped filming on Behemoth!, a drama directed by Tony Gilroy. The film stars Pedro Pascal as a struggling musician who returns to Los Angeles to face his past. Wilde plays his former love interest. The cast also includes Will Arnett and Matthew Lillard, and production finished in late January.

With two films heading to theaters through A24 and Magnolia, plus a major collaboration with Gilroy, this year is shaping up to be an important one for Wilde. Whether she’s grabbing lunch in jeans or premiering films at Sundance, she continues to balance everyday moments with big creative steps.

Do you think Olivia Wilde focusing on smaller, character-driven stories like The Invite is the right move for her career, or would you like to see her return to larger-scale projects again? Share your thoughts in the comments.
