Paramount+’s 2026 ‘Peak Screaming’ Halloween Collection Is Here, and It’s Stacked With Over 450 Titles

Fall has become synonymous with themed streaming collections, as services increasingly compete to be the go-to destination for horror fans looking to marathon their way through October. Paramount+ has carved out its own reputation in that space with its recurring “Peak Screaming” collection, and this year’s edition is arriving with one of its biggest lineups yet.

That reputation continues to build on years of steadily expanding horror libraries, but 2026’s rollout stands out for both its scale and its slate of new original content debuting alongside the seasonal push. Paramount+ has officially launched Peak Screaming for Halloween 2026, and the collection is leading with a major streaming exclusive right out of the gate.

The centerpiece of this year’s launch is the September 3 streaming debut of “Scary Movie (2026)” and its Extended Cut, bringing the franchise’s signature no-horror-movie-is-safe humor back just in time for spooky season, according to a press release. The film marks a fresh entry in the long-running parody series, promising to continue its tradition of poking fun at horror tropes, reboots, and every “final chapter” that never quite stays final.

For fans who prefer bingeing an entire saga rather than jumping between titles, Paramount+ has stocked the collection with complete franchise runs of Scary Movie, Scream, A Quiet Place, Pet Sematary, and Paranormal Activity. That approach puts everything from Ghostface’s rampages to the creature-hunting terror of A Quiet Place under one streaming roof, alongside nearly every other horror trope worth revisiting during the season.

The September lineup alone adds dozens of titles to the platform, including horror staples like “Event Horizon,” “Jacob’s Ladder,” “The Haunting,” and “What Lies Beneath,” alongside the complete Pet Sematary trilogy and Wes Craven’s Dracula series. October’s additions continue that momentum with titles including “Doctor Sleep,” “Drag Me to Hell,” “Parasite,” and “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,” among many others rolling out throughout the month.

Beyond feature films, Peak Screaming is also spotlighting Paramount+’s television offerings, with the platform’s complete Dexter collection available ahead of the highly anticipated second season of “Dexter: Resurrection.” That new season finds Dexter Morgan caught between two dangerous killers while also confronting his own midlife crisis, all while his son Harrison continues his own pursuit of justice, according to a press release detailed by Vital Thrills.

The Dexter revival’s new season will add some heavyweight names to its cast, including Dan Stevens, Brian Cox, Nona Parker Johnson, and Bokeem Woodbine, joining returning stars Uma Thurman and Krysten Ritter, according to Collider. Elsewhere, fans can also catch up on “Yellowjackets” ahead of its final season, which is set to premiere November 20, giving longtime viewers a chance to revisit the wilderness survival thriller before its story wraps up for good.
