‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Reveals Episode Titles and a Weekly Release Plan for ‘The Titan’s Curse’
Fans of Rick Riordan’s demigod saga have been waiting a long time for the third book to reach the screen. Now the ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ episode titles and release plan have finally landed, giving viewers their best look yet at how the new season will unfold.
The series premiered on Disney+ in December 2023, and its long, first-person episode titles have been a signature from the start. The very first episode was called ‘I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher’, so expect more of the same tongue-in-cheek style this time around.
Season 3 is based on ‘The Titan’s Curse’, the third book in Riordan’s series. It marks the first time that book has been adapted to the screen, and Disney+ has teased a darker turn for the story.
Annabeth is captured by the forces of Kronos, and Percy must embark on a perilous rescue mission. Along the way he has to free a goddess in chains, confront the Titan’s curse and avoid triggering the fall of Olympus. The Oracle of Delphi also delivers the Great Prophecy, which will determine the fate of Olympus.

The big reveal came at New York Comic Con, where series star Walker Scobell appeared on stage for an exclusive sneak peek and discussion with moderator Damian Holbrook. He announced that the season will open with a two-episode premiere on November 20, followed by two new episodes each week on Disney+ and Hulu.
That puts the full eight-episode run on this schedule:
- November 20: ‘My Rescue Operation Goes Very Wrong’ and ‘An Old Dead Friend Comes to Visit’
- November 27: ‘I Learn How to Grow Zombies’ and ‘We Visit the Junkyard of the Gods’
- December 4: ‘I Have a Dam Problem’ and ‘I Wrestle Santa’s Evil Twin’
- December 11: ‘I Put on a Few Million Extra Pounds’ and ‘The Gods Vote How to Kill Us’
That means the season finale lands on December 11, a faster run than a one-episode-per-week rollout would have given.
The first title makes the stakes clear: Percy’s rescue operation does not go according to plan. ‘An Old Dead Friend Comes to Visit’ leans into the supernatural side of the story, and the zombie and junkyard titles promise some of the show’s weirdest mythology yet.
The playful pun in ‘I Have a Dam Problem’ and the festive-sounding ‘I Wrestle Santa’s Evil Twin’ show the series has not lost its sense of humor, even as the story gets heavier. Fans will no doubt spend the next few weeks theorizing about ‘I Put on a Few Million Extra Pounds’, which sounds ominous given the sky-holding curse at the heart of the book.
The finale title is the biggest hook of all. ‘The Gods Vote How to Kill Us’ suggests Olympus is deeply divided about the fate of the heroes, setting up a high-stakes endgame.

At San Diego Comic-Con in July, Disney+ confirmed the November 20 date and screened the opening minutes of the season. The footage showed Thalia Grace, played by Tamara Smart, battling a monster inside a parking garage. Percy arrives to help, though Thalia makes it clear she believes she can handle the fight alone.
The preview also highlighted the continuing friction between Percy and Thalia. It follows the events of Season 2 and sets up the storyline that takes center stage in ‘The Titan’s Curse’.
The Hall H panel featured Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Smart, Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie, plus executive producers Craig Silverstein and Dan Shotz. Leah Sava Jeffries, who plays Annabeth, could not attend because of overseas production commitments, but she introduced the footage with a video message.

The release plan puts the new episodes right in the middle of the holiday season. Two episodes a week for four weeks should keep the show at the center of fan conversation from late November through mid-December.
That is also a smart match for a story that begins with a kidnapping and builds to a divine vote on the heroes’ fate. Binge-friendly pacing suits a season in which the stakes keep escalating.
With the episode titles confirmed and the premiere just weeks away, the countdown to ‘The Titan’s Curse’ is officially on.
